I will be 100% honest when I say that I originally created Patches as a throwaway means to an end incident that wasn't really going to go anywhere, but people seemed to like him, so I brought him back and now he will have an actual purpose in the story. Kind of.
Plus, to make myself sound like a better storyteller, I will say I was thinking about Chekov's gun, which for the longest time I thought was a Star Trek reference, but it turns out it is not. :::tears up B.A. in English Literature and tosses into convenient gust of wind:::
Mr. B and I are taking a vacation soon and I won't get specific, but I hear it's the happiest place on Earth. I'm going to try and get this week's updated loaded before then, but Monday's page might be late-ish next week.
