It makes sense for the medallion of gluttony (which I still believe they are currently chasing) to be associated with this story.

Because one never has enough, they would disturb the distribution balance and, by extension, cause hunger and poverty among those, who aren’t strong enough to defend their share.

‘The rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer’ is the paramount example of gluttony, really.

We’ve already seen, that the magic of the medallions can be used for good as well, so it’s feasible to think, that the ‘horn of plenty’ from the stories used the magic of the medallion to conjure the fabled feast.

But if all of that were true…is what the pirate captain is wearing a replica of the medallion?
Or is it the real thing?

I am a little confused about this part, to be honest.
I mean, they saw the thing and immediately assumed it to be one of the medallions.
Which suggests, that, at least Sasha, can tell that the item possesses magical properties and is not just a mere trinket.

But thus far, the pirate captain has not exhibited any of the typical symptoms of being influenced by one of the medallions…if this truly were ‘gluttony’, he would hardly share the bounty he amassed with his men or the stowaways on his ship.

After all, it would make him a glutton.
    And gluttons never have enough.
    Gluttons don’t share.
