I missed the last update, but here’s my two cents on what they are: Golems, which are usually creatures made from clay or stone, which would explain their imperviousness to flame or force…but then again, that dude looks like he got hurt by the second arrow, which would run counter that argument…a stone creature wouldn’t be bothered by a puny arrow.
As an addendum…the flames didn’t even harm their clothes, so either they’ve got a really neat protection spell going on…but if that were the case, the arrows would get deflected.
Same for spectral assailants (who only materialize for the purpose of attacking)…the arrows wouldn’t stick…so what wears fireproof clothes, is apparently of physical nature, but not terribly bothered by an arrow to the shoulder.
Another interesting tidbit…that warrior could easily have killed our archer with his sword…but instead it bashed him on his head, seemingly trying to knock him out.
It would appear that they are under orders to bring them in alive.
