And while it is technically possible to ‘feel’ an illusion (seeing how it can trick all senses), one might have a hard time climbing stairs in one, unless it is combined with a levitation spell keeping you from falling down.
Either that, or the illusion is actually keeping you in one place, making you only believe that you are moving around, which would essentially make it the same as dreaming.
