I'm not meaning to imply that Sasha's parents are entirely cold and uncaring - I don't really know them all that well, but I suspect they are only trying to be practical. But then again sometimes when you're a teenager it seems like your parents don't care about all your feels at all. I mean in this case it's probably some what justified...
