   My plot hook senses are tingling. it seems to me that this old man has more to him then meets the eye.

   my bet hes either a priest of the river god, or maybe a manifestation of him.

   He could just be one of those lonely old guys that want be helpful and loves to tell stories… but where is the fun in that 🙂

       Storytellers are often drunk, lonely old folk who just want to impress (or hassle) someone younger with their stories.
