He uses the ring to control the soldiers, so he is desperately trying to make them go, but it’s a bit of a lost cause.

Yeah, I knew that the ring was the source of his power over those soldiers, it’s that ‘holding on to the throne’ that threw me off here.
As if that was going to make them come back and fight some more.
In my opinion, it would’ve made more sense for him to try to kill Sasha for washing away his soldiers.
Was that decapitation really necessary dude?
