She knew that Sasha would be coming, as such, whatever preparations she would’ve had to do, could’ve been done already.
Unless of course, it’s a very time consuming preparation she was unable to complete up to now.
I don’t think she’s stalling, but much rather might be trying to educate Sasha.
But really, she’s probably just trying to lull Sasha into trusting her, so she will go along with whatever plan she has.
If she just wanted to trap her, she wouldn’t have had to go to the trouble of acting as Maid and show her Lottie.
I think she wants Sasha’s cooperation for something.
She will probably give her an offer she cannot refuse, being the kind soul she is…something like: ‘I can release her, if you help me with…’
Quite probably something that will leave Sasha stripped of the medallions she already has…oh and also probably a husk of what she once has been.
