You know what strikes me as a little odd. These fairies seem to have a fine economy running, with delivery services and production cycles and all that. Though this begs the question, are they like bees/ants and everyone works their asses off for the wellbeing of the colony or are the like humans and for them to do anything, they need some sort of reward? If it’s the latter, I wonder when these travelers are going to get the bill.
I mean, they’re racking up quite a bill, don’t they?
The feast was on the King, I get that, but after that?
We’ve had the inn costs, the cakes and now the mead…considering that Sasha and Olli are the only ones in the group with any actual money (Don’t pay the ferryman! :P), I can imagine something is coming their way. 🙂
Well, I like to think of it as free samples, in the case of the tavern, and the baker did ask them to tea, so it would be rude not to offer food with it 😀
The others will continue their journey while Cal and Serge are stuck behind, paying off their debts ^_^; How mean!
