Well, that there was some sort of ulterior motive with the snake helping her was obvious.
Too bad that she was a better teacher than she thought she would be.
Or maybe she underestimated the wrath of a jealous woman…:)
…but really, if she had the oroboros medallion the entire time, it becomes very likely that the snake never really existed in the first place, but was much rather a projection of the spirit of jealousy locked inside the medallion to get her to tap into its powers.
To manipulate her into corrupting herself.
It wouldn’t surprise me, if the nurse never existed in the first place either. That she tended to a corpse the entire time, deluded by the spirit of jealousy.
And when her level of power reached the required strength…well, it was time to put on the robe and go hunting. 🙂
